About the project
Nettófizetés is a net-pay calculator for Hungary, aimed at anyone in regular employment. Every figure traces to an official source, with the date it was last checked.

This is a net-pay calculator for Hungary. It answers one everyday question that the gross figure on a contract does not: for a regular monthly wage under a standard employment relationship, how much actually lands in your account, and what does the same wage cost the employer? You enter a monthly gross, optionally set the number of beneficiary dependants and whether the worker is under 25, and the tool shows the take-home net, the TB contribution and income tax withheld, and the total employer cost, broken down line by line rather than as a single number.
What it covers, and what it does not
The calculator models standard dependent employment: the flat income tax on the consolidated tax base, the single consolidated employee contribution, the two SZJA-base allowances that change most payslips (the family allowance and the under-25 exemption), and the employer’s social-contribution tax shown as a separate cost. It deliberately leaves out situations that need their own inputs or rules – other personal allowances, fringe benefits, self-employment, and one-off or special payments. Where something is out of scope, the pages say so rather than quietly approximating it.
An estimate, honestly labelled
Every figure shown is the value in force for 2026, traced back to an official source with its own citation. What the calculator produces is still an estimate: the actual deduction is made by your employer on the payslip, and this site shows how it is put together. Rather than hide that behind a polished result, the site states it plainly.
How the figures are sourced
Every rate and amount is meant to trace to an official Hungarian source rather than to a guess: the tax authority (NAV) for the income-tax and contribution rules, the official gazette (Magyar Közlöny) for the minimum-wage decree, and the statistical office (KSH) for the context averages. The values are drawn together in a single rate payload, and each one carries its own source and verification status.
